As a licensed therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, I maintain a private practice in Dallas, Texas.
With over eight years of experience as a psychotherapist, and as a graduate of Oral Roberts University specializing in mental health, I am currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are; trauma, family conflict, anxiety, depression, self harm, life stressors and eating disorders.
I have received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy facilitated by Dr. James Pretzer of the Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy; Trauma Based Treatment with Dr. David Burns of Stanford University and attended this Fall’s seminar on Eating Disorder with the Renfrew Institute. As a clinician, I thrive off a genuine care for clients and I am culturally competent to work with clients of various cultural and socio-economical backgrounds. I am very intuitive and have a natural way of establishing a rapport with others to aid in fostering a therapeutic alliance with the individuals that I work with.
As a solution-focused therapist, my therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
